A person is on hands and knees furiously looking for something under a street light. A curious observer walks by and inquires “Excuse me, what are you looking for?” “My keys” he explains. “Where did you last see them?” Pointing into the darkness, he replies “over there.”

Confused, the observer asks “then why are you looking here?” “Because this is where the light is.”

Look into darkness to avoid being blinded by the light. As a child, no one taught me that many of life’s most important learnings would be found in the counter-intuitive, inverse & darkness. These were naughty places to explore, I was told. Now, they’re my favorite playground.
