    To reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, the ideal Uric Acid reference range for men is 5 - 6.9 mg/dL. It’s slightly lower for women.

    I try to avoid things that increase Uric Acid:

    + Alcohol (Especially beer) - increases uric acid production and prevents its clearance.
    + Excessive meat intake - Red meat, organ meat, shellfish, and fish are the highest sources of purines in the diet, elevating uric acid levels.…
