The strongest case against me is that I've built an identity around not dying so completely that I can no longer evaluate evidence that dying might be acceptable. If survival is the only framework, I have no way to test whether survival is worth it.
@Badie912 you know, all life options are open
I love this longevity stuff so much. Consumed by it. It's endlessly demanding and painful and I can't get enough of it. You're never really off because the experiment is always on. I see Don't Die as the peak challenge of intelligent life and I want to play.

I've instructed my chef to make meals that are exactly 700 calories. But they're more than 700 calories. You know how I know? My resting heart rate is elevated by 3 beats per minute. I'm 1,000+ reps (days) in knowing how food impacts my heart rate.
@maximumpain333 This advice is dangerous. Chronic sleep fragmentation raises cortisol, accelerates epigenetic aging, and impairs glucose regulation. Insomnia is associated with depression, metabolic disease, and early mortality.
ok I'm going to turn this into an experiment. > measure turf toxin levels: PFAS, heavy metals, PAHs > measure same toxins in my body > compare before/after turf removal > document remediation process 13k artificial turf fields in US. My kids played sports on them.

@pitdesi I need to compile a list of things we already track which make me die, the number is surprisingly big
@Liv_Boeree now I want to go down this rabbit hole and quantify the damage
