@Human_Rockstar thanks, I've studied it closely. If a step in the right direction, falls short of Property & Ownership.
@markymetry A single event like this with FB has a good probability of shifting market norms. This is why The Data Crisis is as big or bigger than the 2007 Subprime Mortgage Crisis.
@markymetry Facebook updates their Terms of Service to acknowledge that our digital data is our property, not because they want to, but because we do a global #facebookblackout blocking their ads until they do
FB's ~$500B/cap assumes our digital data is “ownerless”, they collect+monetize w/o constraint. But, in fact, our digital data is our digital Property. We simply haven’t recognized this yet. There's directional legal state+federal precedent i.e. medical, financial, interest....
@trentanderson66 @farnamstreet @SergeW1 @SamHarrisOrg @nfergus I frankly don't think we are currently sufficiently enlightened to even postulate
@trentanderson66 @farnamstreet @SergeW1 @SamHarrisOrg @nfergus Our imagination constrains us to the familiar, which powers these questions. The limits of our brains are unknown. My money is on radical human cognitive expanse that shatters our current notions of what's possible.
RT @Jon__Stone: Retweet with comment seems like a new name for it
“Apple believes privacy is a fundamental human right...” while Facebook doesn’t give a fuck.
