In 2009 #Zuckerberg acknowledged that the user OWNS the information they provide to Facebook. If the individual OWNS it, Facebook must pay the user for the rights to USE it, for any reason.
Most critical question for #Zuckerberg: Who owns a person’s digital data? Is it “ownerless” as FB assumes? Individuals own their digital data, it’s our Property like our homes, cars and clothes. We own it and should be able to control it. #ownyourdata
