A biological species survives and thrives according to its rate of adaptation. Humans don’t get a special pass. We need to fundamentally reconsider how we are going to evolve, systematically & algorithmically, for long term survival.
What we measure we improve. From Mainframes to PCs. A $1 billion genome to $1k. The brain and mind are next.
If we can quantify our brain/minds, we can reimagine the future of being human.
One unlikely but promising application of neurotech is using neural data to improve algorithms, such as voice assistants and image recognition.
I already fired one Bryan; now I’d like to meet the other Bryans who are covertly running the Bryan show.
Neurotech is a burgeoning industry. When we can each easily gain access to our own neural activity, new discoveries will allow each of us to reconsider the most important parts of our lives.
Imagine trying to explain the stock market to Homo erectus. You’d have to explain capitalism, economics, math, money, computers, and corporations — after extensive language training and the inevitable discussion of new axe design possibilities (of course, trying not to offend).

@nikos_chal Thank you and interesting question 🤔
