One unlikely but promising application of neurotech is using neural data to improve algorithms, such as voice assistants and image recognition.

I already fired one Bryan; now I’d like to meet the other Bryans who are covertly running the Bryan show.

Neurotech is a burgeoning industry. When we can each easily gain access to our own neural activity, new discoveries will allow each of us to reconsider the most important parts of our lives.

Imagine trying to explain the stock market to Homo erectus. You’d have to explain capitalism, economics, math, money, computers, and corporations — after extensive language training and the inevitable discussion of new axe design possibilities (of course, trying not to offend).

The Fifth Industrial Revolution: where mind meets machine. Smart devices will disappear, and brain-computer interfaces will replace them.
