I reframed what we call today as "living life" (i.e. debauchery) to be acts of violence against self. Acts of insanity.

I set out to be the most Don't Die person in history and demonstrate a process that can be applied to anything.

I have a suggestion: we play Don't die. DD is currently the most played game by every human on this planet every second of every day.

It is the single thing that every human agrees upon. There is nothing else. And it's not even DD in 10 years, it's DD right now.

    Don't die individually.
    Don't kill each other.
    Don't kill the planet.
    Align AI with Don't die.

We are transitioning as a species from knowing to not knowing.

This change is so jarring, so scary, so unimaginable that 99.9% of people try to solve it with their knowing. They fill the air with words of prediction, ideas and certainties.

It takes wisdom and courage to honestly acknowledge that in this moment: we....don't.....know....what to do.

That is one of the most challenging things for anyone to say.

"Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the mouth." - Tyson.

Even if our prediction of the future is not exact, knowing and being accurate enough still allows for the strength of forethought and preparation and bridges to improvisation when things don't go as planned.

In one generation we've gone from being able to reasonably plan a lifetime to not knowing where to even start. In the future, what if we can't reasonably anticipate generally what's going to happen in weeks or months from now?

That moment is kind of already here.

What do we do when we cannot plan? What do we do when we no longer know?

This is the most urgent question we face as a species as all other questions live downstream from our ability to plan and coordinate.

At age 19, I could see far enough into the future to choose an area of study, select a career path and plan for retirement.

Now, my son, who is 19, has no idea how to think about or plan for the future. This is true for everyone.

    What do we do?

Our ability to learn from the past and reasonably anticipate the future makes our intelligence unique. Planning is a superpower.
