Our biology, culture and societal systems are poorly configured to care about problems that threaten our future as a species. We've yet to focus on the root of the problem: until we radically up level ourselves, it will be more of the same.

I chose Los Angeles as my home and launching pad for @KernelCo and @osfund in part because of the dynamic creative diversity - people, disciplines, thinking, art, research, business, lifestyles. Gold celebrated & chronicled it. Nice to see his remembrances do the same.
Agreed @iamsiamamin. Despite many reasons to feel discouraged about the future, the work being done by @osfund companies makes me bullish that we can solve the problems we face and create a future more magical than we can even imagine.
